About
Ted Tahquechi is a professional landscape and travel photographer whose work embodies creativity, resilience, and a deep passion for visual storytelling. With a career spanning photography and the video game industry, he has made a lasting impact in both fields. His journey began in 1986, developing black and white film in college, before transitioning into video game production, where he helped create beloved franchises for Atari, Accolade, and Mattel Toys. After a life-changing car accident in 1999, Ted reconnected with photography in a new way, using his camera as a tool to experience and capture the world from his unique perspective.
His inspiring body of work has been exhibited across the United States, showcasing his distinctive artistic vision. In addition to his photography, Ted is a passionate advocate for vision loss awareness and the transformative power of art. He frequently speaks at retro gaming conferences about his time in the industry and educates organizations on how to better serve visually impaired individuals. Whether through his photography, public speaking, or collaborations with his guide dog, Fauna, Ted challenges perceptions and proves that creativity has no limits.
